The Power of Gratitude 365 Days of Year

Like many of you, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It’s a time for savoring family, friends and life’s many blessings. We at Curatti have a lot to be thankful for. We just celebrated our first anniversary. It’s an important milestone, and we’re very proud of all we’ve accomplished in trying to bring you the most insightful content available. That’s our mission: to put you in touch with the ideas, thought leaders and tools that will help you successfully navigate the digital realm and the world of change.

Building community, serving as a catalyst and connecting people and ideas is what I am all about. In today’s world, no one can know everything, but everyone knows something. That’s why it is so important for all of us to reach out and link up with people that can complement our understanding. I like to call such individuals “idea-amplifiers.”

No one has benefited from this connectivity more than me. It’s thanks to all of you who have joined us at Currati – and are sharing this mutual journey of discovery – that we have so much to be grateful for.

I’d like to share a quote with you from Teddy Roosevelt: “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you gratitude-rainbowspiral1care.” This attitude works in our personal lives and business. According to Geoffrey James, gratitude is like an “emotional muscle” and the more we exercise it, the stronger and better off we become. Why? Well, to begin with, grateful people take things in stride, they keep things in perspective and they see small successes as something to build upon. The good feeling that accompanies even minor accomplishments encourages grateful people to try harder.

So, if you want to be successful in business, then make every day Thanksgiving. How do you show gratitude?  Well, by treating everyone like they’re important simply because they are. Also, be the solution to your customer’s problems consistently. When you think of others and show you care, they’ll care back. Simply put, gratitude reflects the finest part of us, and it helps bring out the best in others. In this way, we all flourish.

Speaking of gratitude; your comments, encouragement, readership and involvement with Curatti confirms on a daily basis everything I believe in: namely, that sifting through the online clutter to find valuable content can make a world of difference to people. It can also make beautiful things happen. Thanks for being a part of Curatti and Happy Holidays.
