  1. Hover over your image in the top right hand corner
  2. Select ‘Privacy and Settings’
  3. Select ‘Manage your recommendations’
  4. Select ‘Ask for recommendations’
  5. Select up to 3 people
  6. PERSONALIZE THE MESSAGE! (Never use the standard LinkedIn text)
  7. Be sure you tell people what you want to be recommended for
